I would like to buy 12 of the batteries to build my off-grid solar system, but I don't really know if it would be a good choice. Any help, please?

I didn't include a battery picture with my last review. As you can see, with no Sun, my panels are working.

These batteries hold a lot of juice

I installed 2 of these in series and decided I needed more storage. I wired two sets in parallel and then wired those in series. I wanted them to be within 0.05% charge, so I used a small cigarette plug inverter to power a lightbulb to drain the highest charged battery. After wiring in parallel, I put the pairs in series. There was about a 0.3v difference. With 560ah, it took some time to drain them down. I got them wired and online and by the next day, the Eco-Worthy battery balancer had them matched.

I have 10 Eco-Worthy 195w bifacial panels laying flat on the roof of my motorhome. They arrived with the boxes mangled and a few dings. I almost refused them when the delivery driver rolled them out of her truck. My wife and I spent 2 hours testing them. I contacted Eco-Worthy and they sent me enough cable for the job for keeping the panels. A win-win. We tested 2 panels upside down and the voltage was the same. Makes me wish I could angle my panels.

The other day, before the two additional batteries, my motorhome parked E-W at around 3:00 in the afternoon, I was seeing 1.56kw. I have all this power and no way to use it. I ran the heat pump both ways and my hybrid inverter (not Eco-Worthy) was using 900 watts for the heat pump and was still putting 3 amps into the batteries. Our house refrigerator went on the blink and we utilized the RV reefer which uses about 700 watts. The batteries stayed charged even though many days were overcast.

Upgrade to Lithium

My old lead acid batteries finally went bad so instead of just replacing them with new lead acid batteries, I made the switch to Lithium. Flipped a switch on my converter/charger and installation of the LiFePO4 12V 280Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery was straight forward and completed in a few hours. Working as expected and get nearly 3 times the usable power in a single package.

Tons of Ah, reasonably priced!

Though I've yet to install these batteries on my sailboat (it is an upcoming project) these two batteries will provide me with ample house capacity. They are very reasonably priced for the market. If I am able to update my review after installing them I will do so. But for the time being they are just what I was looking for.
